Dr. Ivey’s private practice is located in Kihei. His staff have been trained to give you the best and most personalized care possible. Our procedure room is cutting edge and has Tesla backup batteries in case of power outage. Dr. Ivey enjoys performing procedures under local anesthesia if possible as it eliminates the risks of general anesthesia and avoids narcotics.
We utilize a paper-free electronic medical record called Modernizing Medicine that allows patient’s to view their results and participate in their care. We try to eliminate waste throughout the practice – we want to keep Maui as pristine as possible!
Dr. Ivey often uses 3D imaging to fully explain and plan for your procedure. This helps to strengthen the communication between surgeon and patient and leave no doubts about what the patient’s individual goals are vs. what is surgically possible. Dr. Ivey accepts most insurance. At the end of your consultation we will provide you with a quote for surgery. This includes Dr. Ivey’s fee, OR fees, Anesthesia fees, and cost of any implants if required.
Concierge / Fly in / Out of Town Patients
Are you interested in having plastic surgery and recovering in beautiful Maui ? Dr. Ivey’s practice is just a 10-15 minute drive from some of the most amazing resorts in Wailea. Many of our patients fly in to have surgery and recover in Maui. This allows Dr. Ivey to monitor your postoperative course and ensure that you will be ready to fly home afterward. Typically the whole process requires at minimum a week on Maui – depending on the procedure. Our patient coordinator and Dr. Ivey will walk you through the process that will include a preoperative virtual consultation, overnight nursing at your hotel (if required), and all of your postoperative care while on Maui. Recover in privacy at one of Maui’s many resorts.
